Hi!

I have some real strange problem, which i cannot solve, so maby some of you can help me..

I have two computer, server and laptop, and i like to use server as gateway
to internet and laptop for daily using. Network cable go to server, and LAN works with WLAN. The problem is this wlan, i have installed ndiswrapper and it work's almost fine.. at some reason i have to reboot wlan interface in server after laptop's wlan interface is on..
but that is not big problem.

In server i have debian linux 2.6 kernel and in laptop i have debian linux kernel 2.6 and windows xp.

The problem is that i cannot use wlan in windows mode, at some strange reason server seems to filter
ip packet's which come from laptop if laptop is in windows mode.. heh.. :)
I can ping from server to laptop, it works fine, but from laptop server won't response nothing.
I can see with tcpdump that packets transfer, but server just wont answer..

I don't know much about iptables, i use shorewall to configure it, but i dont think that it is the problem, i have turned it off, and still everything works fine if laptop is in linux mode.. i cannot understand the reason, can someone help me?!? any hints where to start to search problem? is there some logging system in kernel where i can see what happends to packets..

Thanks, Artsi
