One sysadmin here had been testing some loopback routing through fiber and fwa. A couple of days later I needed to set up the network for an external customer. I couldn't reach the server, though I got ping replies. Couldn't see any echo requests etc. on the receiving server's nic. I couldn't figure out what was going on until I noticed the 0ms replies and got suspicious. Anyway, I just figured this obviously had to be a bug and felt like barfing here. - -- Regards, Tais M.
