When I read the code about the ICMP message handling, I found a
question:

When the host receive the ICMP message : Type = 3 (Destination Unreachable)
Code = 4 (Fragmentation needed and DF set)

If (ipv4_config.no_pmtu_disc) is set(to 1), then kernel will do nothing.
I'd like to know what will happen if the kernel do nothing after
receiving this ICMP message?

Nothing will happen - that's the point.

The connection between source and destination will not be setup forever??

Probably not.

Thanks in advance
