hi,

I sent time ago this to rh broadcom list, but it looks like it's not for
devel purposes.

There are some hardware not supported by tg3_1.5 driver:

I think that these don't need new code because similar nics are supported:
0x1148, 0x4500 -> SysKonnect SK-9Mx1 Gigabit Ethernet 1000 Family Adapters (from sk9dlin_2_4_17_patch.gz)
0x173b, 0x03e9 -> ALTIMA AC1001 Gigabit Ethernet (IntegratedCopper) (from SMC95x2TX_LNX_DR.zip)
0x173b, 0x03eb -> ALTIMA AC1003 Gigabit Ethernet (IntegratedCopper)(from SMC95x2TX_LNX_DR.zip)

these I am not sure, maybe little additions (all from bcm5700-6.0.2.tar.gz):
0x14e4, 0x1653, 0x0e11, 0x00e3, -> NC7761
0x14e4, 0x1653 ->BCM5705
0x14e4, 0x1654, 0x0e11, 0x00e3 -> NC7761
0x14e4, 0x1654 -> BCM5705
0x14e4, 0x165d -> BCM5705M
0x14e4, 0x165e -> BCM5705M
0x14e4, 0x1696 -> BCM5782

if somebody wants to see the vendor drivers, the code is here:
http://www.syskonnect.de/syskonnect/support/driver/zip/sk9dlin_2_4_17_patch.gz
http://www.smc.com/drivers_downloads/library/SMC95x2TX_LNX_DR.zip
ftp://Net_sys_anon:anonymous@ftp1.broadcom.com/bcm5700-6.0.2.tar.gz

-thanks-

regards,
