There was a mistake in the setting of the rta_len parameter in that patch
which was covered up by the patch to the kernel.  Please get the updated
patch at

http://gondor.apana.org.au/~herbert/freeswan/freeswan-linux-ipsec-20030524.1.patch.gz

and use it together with the following kernel patch against 2.5.69.
