Using the DFE-580TX I get 15% packet loss and 25% CPU usage. Ifconfig also shows packets being dropped: eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:05:5D:E6:14:BE inet addr:10.230.0.1 Bcast:10.230.0.255 Mask:255.255.255.0 UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:2439797 errors:0 dropped:287381 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:2461746 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:100 Interrupt:18 Base address:0xa400 eth2 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:05:5D:E6:14:BF inet addr:10.230.1.1 Bcast:10.230.1.255 Mask:255.255.255.0 UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:2463601 errors:0 dropped:286106 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:2437637 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:100 Interrupt:19 Base address:0xa000 //Marcus -- ---------------------------------------+-------------------------- Marcus Sundberg <marcus@ingate.com> | Firewalls with SIP & NAT Firewall Developer, Ingate Systems AB | http://www.ingate.com/ - : send the line "unsubscribe linux-net" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
