is it possible for an app such as apache to tag sockets with a name/value to classify traffic for the kernel shaping code? i'd like to implement something in apache which allows me to limit specific virtual hosts, or to put limits on mpegs/etc. at first i thought i'd get by with just IPTOS-type of stuff, but i've got at least one virtual host which needs to be in a class all of its own.
