tcpdump on wlan interfaces

Hello:

I have a PC running kernel 2.4.18 and debian (woody). I have one eth
adapter and one wlan adapter. I am running pcmcia-cs-3.1.33. I can do
tcpdump on the eth interface, but when I tdpdump the wlan interface I
get many CRC errors: "eth1: Bad CRC on Rx. Frame dropped". I don't get
tcpdump results, warnings or errors on my screen because there is no
trafic, but dmesg shows these errors. The errors appear when I use
tcpdump. If I ping anyother STA, orinoco does not report any of these
errors (checking with dmesg and /proc/net/{dev and wireless}

The WLAN adapter is a silver WaveLAN IEEE 802.11 compliant Turbo 11Mb by
Lucent, firmware 4.52. The driver is the orinoco module that comes in
pcmcia-cs-3.1.33.

Any help?
Marcos.
