fields in sock structure

Hi,
I would like to know what's the difference between the fields
wmem_queued and wmem_alloc in the sock structure.
i just found that wmem_alloc is incremented every time an skb is put into
the write queue. then what does wmem_queued signify ?
also the field forward_alloc. what does it do and does it have an
  initial default value.
many thanks,
amit.
