The easistes thing would be to have 2 network cards. One for the LB net and
one for adminsitration. Another option is to filter incoming ARP requests and
out going responses with the MAC iptables module.

I thought that turning off arp on an interface does this for all aliases, too.
What kind of alias are you using ? eth0:1 or ifconfig add?
