MS-DOS NT Client and Samba

I'm trying to get the MSDOS Client for Workgroups to connect to my samba
server, but not managing to do so (SUSE 7.1). The connection works happily in
windows but I need a DOS-based connection for some older machines.

This is a list of what's happening when booting up with step-by-step
confirmation:

net initialse  -> No Errors
netbind.com    -> Error: 33 Unable to Bind
umb.com        -> No Errors
tcprfc.exe -> Netbind must be executed before TCP/IP module is loaded
tinyrfc.exe -> TCP access failure by Tiny RFC...not loaded
nmtsr.exe      -> No errors
emsbfr.exe     -> No errors
net start -> IPX or NetBIOS must be running in order to load the network

                  services

It is obvious that the netbind error seems to be causing most of the rest. I
have changed the settings to match those in windows but to no avail.

Has anyone got an idea.

Regards,
Mark
