Hi, I have some network problems with RH 7.1 system. My system is connected to the ethernet LAN and it has its own IP. My network connection goes down frequetly and it will be restored only when I rerun the networking scripts by saying /etc/rc.d/init.d/network retart. But after sometime it again goes down. I not sure its a problem with the OS beacuse I upgraded my linux version recently and the problem is still there. Could it be problem with the Ethernet card ? this too doesn't seem plausible to me beacuse I cheked by replacing another NIC without much luck. Any suggestion's what else I must be checking .
