Judging from your logs, everything is working fine except that DMA transfers 
are either not happening or transferring the wrong data.

I guess you could try a different dma channel, though I wouldn't particularly 
expect it to make much difference.  If I can find the time (and remember where 
I put the card) I'll stick my 3c505 in a machine with a 2.4 kernel and see if 
it works here.
