Re: limiting MRU on an ethernet device ?

Thanks this has made a massive difference ! (0.7K/s -> 55 K/s)  

I am a little suprised that changing the mtu has reduced the size of the
incoming packets.  Is this inherent in the MTU discovery by the other end,
or does changing the MTU also change the MRU.

I am now confused but happy !
