3C996 (10/100/1000) driver into kernel?

Hello,

I'm just lucky to test 2 (brandnew) 3c996-T NIC's (gigabit over copper),
and i was pleasantly suprised GPL-ed drivers for linux 2.2.x and 2.4.0 where
included on cdrom.

Are there any plans to include this bcm5700 driver in the latest kernel?
