Hi all, Sorry if this is somewere in FAQ, or other RTFM place, I didn't manage to find it :). In short I want to know if there is some kernel /proc parameter, patch, user program or other stuff ;) that can help me detect cable failures on some/all Ethernet boards, something like Cisco's "interface is down, line protocol is down, bla, bla".
