The Apache project's got a free java program for load testing called jmeter.
It's probably a little more basic than you're looking for but it's free,
easy to use and is good for initial testing. Take a look at
http://java.apache.org/jmeter/ for details.

Subject: web server stress testing

Hey,
Can anyone recomend a method or existing software to make multiple
simultaneous http requests from a webserver. If possible I would make the
request appear to be coming from different ip addressses?

Thanks
