Linux - IGMP Router-Router support

Hi Netters,
In the process of developing a product i need to use Linux Box as a
Mcast Router. I want to know if the signalling(IGMP) in the kernel handles
router to router communication or only host to routr communication. In other
words does the IGMP in the Linux Box behave like a router sending queries
periodically and stuff...Also i tried to look into the code and couldnt
figure out if it does handle the router piece.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please CC the reply to me. I dont
seem to get any mails from the mailing list anymore.
-Thanks in advance.
