I would have problems mounting my reiserfs file systems and I'm not able to run the system without those file systems. :/ AM> Please send as much detail as possible so I can attempt to AM> reproduce. What do you like to read here? The system is running on an 486DX/2 66, 16MB of RAM, Adaptec AHA1542B, Teles 16.3 ISDN card (using HiSax), 3c509 combo [I'm really considering reinstalling my smc9194 card, as it is supported again]. The kernel is compiled using egcs-2.91.66 with 3c509 as module...ups, I'm still running modutils 2.3.9 [should this be my problem?]. I can't reproduce the problem on demand, it just occurs from time to time, my first suspections were that it was caused by heavy load, but this cannot be the case, as I just ran into the problem while nothing else special was running...okay, I had an internet connection over ISDN (ipppd) running...but this is not the case on every occurance. I better should test my smc9194 whether it also times out the connection, perhaps the problem is not in the 3c509 driver?! -=( CU Andre )=- E-Mail: andre@grueneberg.de ...
