Hi List,
We have an office
at SanJose and at Hyderabad India, which are connected thruogh a leased line.
Hyderabad LAN, SJ lan will be in private range of ipaddresses
and we will have our Internet services at SJ office i.e
we will have our internet gateway DNS,Mail
server,firewalls,webservers,VPN gateway etc at our SJ office, To achieve
this what would be the best design, and also is it possible to have mail
server with private ip address at our hyderabad office which recieves mails from
out side our domain.i.e we will have our domain server at SJ office with name
foo.com with public ipaddress and india.foo.com at our Hyderabad office which
has private ip address ( 10.x.x.x) if it is possible how to do this. and if not
what would be the other alternative. Can we have firewall in between our LANs if
so what is the best way we could achieve this. What are the other issues that i
have to consider in building this network. I have been working as sys admin and
dont have much experience in networking can any one please me.
