UDP behind a masquerading

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi folks,

we had just programmed a small tool, which shows me the callerid of an
incoming phone on my Desktop.
My Linux server is sending an UDP-packet to a specified IP (broadcast on
localnet). On this IP is a Java applet running (or another app) which is
listening on the specified port.

So far so good.....

How can I receive such a packet behind a masqueraded gateway?
How do that other programs like games or ICQ, which are running behind it?

best regards,
Thomas
