hum... I have it in place of file_mode=0777, and it shoud be the same...

One basic question: is it locar or remote? If remote, it could be a server setting...

Just change you /etc/fstab and add umask=0 or 666, whatever you like best.

The default have changed. My guess is that this is due to the new samba version.
