I'm using a little Asus eee PC 1000 to run XyWrite under dosemu in Intrepid. this thing heats up quite a bit under normal use -- around 53 c -- but as soon as I start up dosemu within just a few seconds it goes up to 62, and I've seen it go even higher. I've tried changing the hogthreshold value up to as much as 7, with minimal effect on Dosemu's responsiveness (haven't really stressed the system yet, however).
