I guess you're using Debian/stable.

See the list of files[1] in the dosemu package from unstable[2].

What you need are the font files from /usr/share/fonts/X11/misc/dosemu/

If I was you, I'd try downloading[3] the unstable .deb, then opening it
with file-roller or mc and copying the fonts from the package to the
live system. Then run 'xset fp rehash; so that the fonts become
available to the current X session.
