Opposites.

dosemu -t in an xterm cannot display graphics.  dosemu -s (for console 
graphics) does not work in X.

If you want graphics in X, type "xdosemu" or "dosemu -X" to bring up a window.  
More recently, you can just type "dosemu".

You simply don't want -t.
