No, I switched to docbook-utils myself as well.

mkdir obj/ && cd obj/ && \
CFLAGS='-DCONFIG_NO_BACKWARDS_COMPAT -g' \
../configure --prefix=/ $(DISABLE_ZLIB) $(CROSS)
cp *.[0-9] obj/ # XXX workaround
cd obj && $(MAKE)
Unless I copy the man pages in the build directory, some are not
installed (I think tha ones which have not been regenerated).
