I already applied it (as commit 45f87de57f8f), so if you think it's
stable material - and I agree that it looks that way - you should just
email stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx about it.

I think it might be a good idea to wait a week or two to make sure it
doesn't have any unexpected side effects.
