Problem: can't capture correct sound with osprey 230

Hi, all:

     I use osprey  230 to capture sound and video. The video is good
while the sound that captured can't be heard clearly.
I dont known how to solve this problem.

   Will anyone tell me  what I should do or if I should add something
to modprobe.conf?
