Hi,
  Under regexec(3)
Byte offsets
       Unless REG_NOSUB was set for the compilation of the pattern buffer, it  is  possible  to  obtain  match  addressing
       information.

This is confusing, but I think it means:
      If REG_NOSUB was set for the compilation of the pattern buffer, it  is  not possible  to  obtain  match  addressing
       information.

Can we please stop using the reverse logic on things? It really makes it hard to follow.
