How long does it take for you to realize that it won't happen?
I mean, really - a year?  Two?

New as(1) sees
definition of gas_fscked.x
definition of gas_fscked (independent from gas_fscked.x)
invocation of gas_fscked.x

You might like such identifiers, but I don't want to see this in the m68k 
source.

Feel free to rename.  Frankly, seeing how little relation there is between
mainline and your tree, I don't see how that could be a problem for you.
