That's a huge patch. Way too big for me IMO.

Please refactor the series with:
1. hid_is_usb() check being moved
2. fix the checkpatch complains without adding new devices
3+ split the remaining changes, one per device so we can track which
   device needs what.

(1. and 2. can be done in any order)
