Given I'd like to push these out as fixes, I'm particularly keen to
get some additional input on these.

This behaviour in the existing driver would be fine if the sampling
frequency was a shared attribute.  Technically it's still fine under
the ABI for any attribute to change any other.  

However, here we have an odd mixed setup that is doing local
caching to allow the channels to have different sampling frequencies
but then isn't implementing it actually happening right.

So I think this patch is right, but other input welcome!

Akinobu, if I seem to have forgotten this in a week or so and
