Hm, the config that generated this has:

CONFIG_IIO=m
# CONFIG_IIO_BUFFER is not set
CONFIG_IIO_KFIFO_BUF=m

How is it possible that IIO_KFIFO_BUF is selected but not IIO_BUFFER?
