Dear ata-subsystem maintainer, I read that the ini162x driver is rather unsable and should not be used (found the kernel 3.11 commit). I have such a PCMCIA card and have been using it on a homeserver. I *did* have disk issues, but thought it was due to heat… in only occured once or twice (on rather warm days) in the last 1,5 years.
