IIRC, since ICH8 or 9, intel ahcis do support PMP.  The flag can be
controlled by the BIOS.  Hmmm.... maybe you can just comment out the

I tried forcing PMP to on. This does cause the Multiplier to be detected. However it does not detect the 2 drives attached to it.
