Now my transfer rate has increased to 20 kilobyte / second read, about
4 times faster than before but still pretty slow.
Well, it could be that IRQ delivery still isn't working quite properly
somehow (irqpoll shouldn't really be needed if everything is working
properly). The adapter only supports PIO0 so you definitely won't get
more than about 3 MB/sec and probably a fair bit slower than that, but
20 KB/sec still seems a bit abnormal..
