Good news is that we successfully tested the driver today on

- MX1DAS (MX1)
- phyCORE-i.MX27 (MX2)
- phyCORE-i.MX31 (MX3)

We could read EEPROMs and play with GPIO-expanders. So, after applying
the minor things below, you may add

I really think it should go mainline in the next merge-window. Sascha
