The driver data specific to each pinctrl GPIO bank compatible nodes are not the same and declaring additional compatible string as fallback has no specific purpose, hence, removing the "atmel,at91sam9x5-gpio" compatible from sam9x60 SoC DT. Note: The at91 pinctrl driver uses "atmel,at91rm9200-gpio" compatible string to find the number of active GPIO banks and identify the pinmux nodes.It should used as a constant across all DT for GPIO node banks that uses PIO3 based pinctrl driver Signed-off-by: Manikandan Muralidharan <manikandan.m@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> --- arch/arm/boot/dts/microchip/sam9x60.dtsi | 8 ++++---- 1 file changed, 4 insertions(+), 4 deletions(-) diff --git a/arch/arm/boot/dts/microchip/sam9x60.dtsi b/arch/arm/boot/dts/microchip/sam9x60.dtsi index 797855e78058..db2ddff872d2 100644 --- a/arch/arm/boot/dts/microchip/sam9x60.dtsi +++ b/arch/arm/boot/dts/microchip/sam9x60.dtsi @@ -1236,7 +1236,7 @@ pinctrl: pinctrl@fffff400 { >; pioA: gpio@fffff400 { - compatible = "microchip,sam9x60-gpio", "atmel,at91sam9x5-gpio", "atmel,at91rm9200-gpio"; + compatible = "microchip,sam9x60-gpio", "atmel,at91rm9200-gpio"; reg = <0xfffff400 0x200>; interrupts = <2 IRQ_TYPE_LEVEL_HIGH 1>; #gpio-cells = <2>; @@ -1247,7 +1247,7 @@ pioA: gpio@fffff400 { }; pioB: gpio@fffff600 { - compatible = "microchip,sam9x60-gpio", "atmel,at91sam9x5-gpio", "atmel,at91rm9200-gpio"; + compatible = "microchip,sam9x60-gpio", "atmel,at91rm9200-gpio"; reg = <0xfffff600 0x200>; interrupts = <3 IRQ_TYPE_LEVEL_HIGH 1>; #gpio-cells = <2>; @@ -1259,7 +1259,7 @@ pioB: gpio@fffff600 { }; pioC: gpio@fffff800 { - compatible = "microchip,sam9x60-gpio", "atmel,at91sam9x5-gpio", "atmel,at91rm9200-gpio"; + compatible = "microchip,sam9x60-gpio", "atmel,at91rm9200-gpio"; reg = <0xfffff800 0x200>; interrupts = <4 IRQ_TYPE_LEVEL_HIGH 1>; #gpio-cells = <2>; @@ -1270,7 +1270,7 @@ pioC: gpio@fffff800 { }; pioD: gpio@fffffa00 { - compatible = "microchip,sam9x60-gpio", "atmel,at91sam9x5-gpio", "atmel,at91rm9200-gpio"; + compatible = "microchip,sam9x60-gpio", "atmel,at91rm9200-gpio"; reg = <0xfffffa00 0x200>; interrupts = <44 IRQ_TYPE_LEVEL_HIGH 1>; #gpio-cells = <2>; -- 2.25.1
