        git checkout 8c134c15d6ac9f2c35eab8e0b17afb50d766c42e
        # save the attached .config to linux build tree
        GCC_VERSION=7.5.0 make.cross ARCH=m68k

Note: the vfs/merge.nfs-fs_parse.1 HEAD c82e7d8dd98e4161b2d897edd44457810b8247fd builds fine.
      It only hurts bisectibility.
