i have gigabyte u8000-RH (http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/TVCard/Products_Spec.aspx?ClassValue=TV+Card&ProductID=2441&ProductName=GT-U8000-RH)
with default drivers in kernel, dongle can not be recognized.
i have downloaded v4l source code, compiled it and again nothhing.
next i change in dvb-usb-ids.h gigabyte's ID to 0x7002 .
when i put in dongle computer recognized it. but that's it. scan for channels always failed. grenn led is always on.
i noticed in dmesg a line "mt2060 I2C read failed".
i opened the dongle and saw inside chip labeled CX25843-24Z, others are under sinks
is the tuner working? or the i2c read failed is failure
