Hate to be a Me-Too'er, but this looks incredibly like what's happening on my system. Also openSUSE 10.3 with all current updates. If you let me know what you need, I'll be glad to paste some logs. I will have to reinstall the driver again, but if you see the other messages I've posted, I've already done a bit of troubleshooting to no avail.
