I just now tried pulling the VP-3250 card, and the result is the same,
as you can see below:

I did remove the tuner "can" cover on the board, and found that this
card is indeed using an LG tuner.  There is about a 10-digit string of
numbers etched on the PC board in the tuner, but I didn't write it
down.  Somehow, it didn't look like a model number, but may have been.

I'm going to have a look at the code in dst to see if I can figure out
what the printk messages are telling me.

If you have any other ideas, please let me know.
