Jose, Thanks for the quick response. Another reader Olivier suggested that I plug in both antennas since the Windows drivers were probably using diversity or something on the main receiver. I attached one of the mini-antennas to the side connector and it seems to have picked up a few channels. I have ordered a splitter/amplifier so I will try it again in a couple of days with two full-sized coax coming from my main antenna feed. I was able to capture TV, but it came out a little broken due to the bad reception I think. sgreszcz@247:~$ sudo scan -5 /usr/share/doc/dvb-utils/examples/scan/dvb-t/uk-CrystalPalace > /home/sgreszcz/.tzap/channels.conf scanning /usr/share/doc/dvb-utils/examples/scan/dvb-t/uk-CrystalPalace using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0' initial transponder 505833333 0 3 9 1 0 0 0 >>> tune to: 505833333:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_3_4:FEC_AUTO:QAM_16:TRANSMISSION_MODE_2K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_32:HIERARCHY_NONE 0x0000 0x1044: pmt_pid 0x1044 BBC -- BBC ONE (running) 0x0000 0x1084: pmt_pid 0x1084 BBC -- BBC TWO (running) 0x0000 0x10ff: pmt_pid 0x10ff BBC -- BBC THREE (running) 0x0000 0x113f: pmt_pid 0x113f BBC -- BBC NEWS 24 (running) 0x0000 0x117f: pmt_pid 0x117f BBC -- BBCi (running) 0x0000 0x123f: pmt_pid 0x123f BBC -- CBBC Channel (running) sgreszcz@247:~$ sudo tzap -r -c /home/sgreszcz/.tzap/channels.conf "BBC ONE" using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0' tuning to 505833330 Hz video pid 0x0258, audio pid 0x0259 status 1f | signal 62cc | snr 0000 | ber 001fffff | unc 00000026 | FE_HAS_LOCK status 1f | signal 62e9 | snr 0000 | ber 00000df0 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK status 1f | signal 6352 | snr 0000 | ber 00005d80 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK status 1f | signal 644f | snr 0000 | ber 00005580 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK _______________________________________________ linux-dvb mailing list linux-dvb@xxxxxxxxxxx http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/linux-dvb
