You'll need a DVB-S2 card for HDTV/H.264 broadcast material when itbecomes available (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVB-S2 for moreinformation.).
I picked up a Hauppauge Nova-S Plus for testing and recording offree-to-air (FTA) available DVB-S material as the card is wellsupported. The newer DVB-S2 API is still a work in progress, althoughsome cards may work well with the latest V4L/kernel (seehttp://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/DVB-S2_Devices). I'm holding offgetting a DVB-S2 card until things are more stable and more FTAmaterial is available to make it worthwhile.
