Hi all, I just wanted to ask if the new Compro U500 device ID could be properly added to the source as I am having trouble getting it to work by just changing the id in the " linux/drivers/media/dvb/dvb-usb/dvb-usb-ids.h " file of the source. I am getting seg faults as soon as I attempt to scan or dvbscan as stated in an earlier email. U500 Videomate Compro 185b:1e82 [previous versions are 1e78 and 1e80] On opening the device I see it also uses the DiB7700 and the mt2060 chips [DiB7700C1 and MT2060F to be a little more accurate.] lsusb -v gives this: Bus 001 Device 006: ID 185b:1e82 Compro Device Descriptor: bLength 18 bDescriptorType 1 bcdUSB 2.00 bDeviceClass 0 (Defined at Interface level) bDeviceSubClass 0 bDeviceProtocol 0 bMaxPacketSize0 64 idVendor 0x185b Compro idProduct 0x1e82 bcdDevice 1.00 iManufacturer 1 Compro iProduct 2 VideoMateU500 iSerial 3 000000000000001 bNumConfigurations 1 Configuration Descriptor: bLength 9 bDescriptorType 2 wTotalLength 46 bNumInterfaces 1 bConfigurationValue 1 iConfiguration 0 bmAttributes 0xa0 Remote Wakeup MaxPower 500mA ----clip----------- If any more info is needed on the device, just ask. thanks Craig _______________________________________________ linux-dvb mailing list linux-dvb@xxxxxxxxxxx http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/linux-dvb
