Hard to tell. The patch reduces I/O load during some kinds of debi
transfers, and the CAM is connected to the debi interface...

CAM problems are sometimes caused by a broken cable between CI and DVB
card.

Well if you have a way to tell which one is faulty I'll take it. Though for sure part of the CI interface works at it is able to display the cam name/signature.
