Hi, it seems that Technotrend has put a new tuner onto their C-1500 budget cards. The label on the tuner reads TDM1316AL. The revision on the PCB however is the same as for the old ones. A friend of mine got himself such a new card and receptions is just as bad as can be. While the older C-1500 performs very nicely, it is almost impossible to get the new C-1500 to receive a clean TS. Signal strength is ~5% and SNR is below 10%, compared to ~62%STR and ~80%SNR with the old one. There has been a discussion on the German VDR-Portal about it. The conclusion was, that they could not get the card working. Is anyone out there with such a card who could take a closer look at problem? Btw: The card is working fine under Windows.
