WinTV Nova-T PCI 500 new issues

Hi,

With the recent flurry of activity relating to firmware and support for
this card, I decided to upgrade the modules from the Mercurial
repository and deploy the new firmware.

For the first couple of days, things were looking good and I noticed a
marked improvement against 2.6.21. I tried to then compile a new 2.6.22
kernel and it was at this point it all went horribly wrong. The 2.6.22
kernel with the new drivers would not lock to most channels, so I
reverted back to 2.6.21. However, upon doing this - the card now appears
to have suffered an almighty problem.. see tzap results below :-

basil:~# tzap -c

The aerial configuration has not changed, I have line of sight to the
transmitter in question and dmesg looks reasonably healthy:

dib0700: loaded with support for 5 different device-types
usb 3-3: reset full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 2
dvb-usb: found a 'Hauppauge Nova-T 500 Dual DVB-T' in warm state.
dvb-usb: will pass the complete MPEG2 transport stream to the software
demuxer.

DVB: registering frontend 0 (DiBcom 3000MC/P)...
DVB: Unable to find symbol mt2060_attach()
dvb-usb: will pass the complete MPEG2 transport stream to the software
demuxer.
DVB: registering new adapter (Hauppauge Nova-T 500 Dual DVB-T)
DVB: registering frontend 1 (DiBcom 3000MC/P)...
DVB: Unable to find symbol mt2060_attach()
input: IR-receiver inside an USB DVB receiver as /class/input/input2
dvb-usb: schedule remote query interval to 150 msecs.
dvb-usb: Hauppauge Nova-T 500 Dual DVB-T successfully initialized and
connected.

I have also (for the sake of argument) compiled new modules from the
Mercurial repository today and make install'd them but it has made no
difference.

I know that the firmware it is loading is correct (-03-pre1.fw), but I
haven't been near the system to do a full cold reboot recently.

I appreciate this is a weird issue, but I would appreciate anyone's
pointers as to how to gain more extensive diagnostics to figure out what
is going on with the card, and how I might be able to go about fixing it!

Thanks
Chris
