I think the crash is caused by the disconnect itself since the dvb stack
is not designed to deal with disappearing devices.
You used a Nova-T 500 with the driver patch by Jose Alberto ?

Yes. I'll apply your patch as well and see if it helps. 

For the record, I do use EIT scanning.
