Hi, would it be possible to provide a highres photo of the usb board (without shielding)? it would also help if you could open the device and write down the used chips, you could also try to submit the windows inf driver (I know Equinux is a Mac company though) but maybe there are windows drivers available for that stick too. cheers, Markus On 5/9/07, Tim Hewett <tghewett1@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
Is there a way to have the Equinux TubeStick work with the DVB drivers? It is a USB2 DVB-T device for the Mac, but the OS X software is very basic - no ability to schedule recordings for example. I suspect it is a WideView-based device since the same software recognises other WideView ones like the Terratec and Freecom, but the TubeStick isn't recognised by the linuxtv drivers. Are there any tests I can do to help get it working? Here is the output of dmesg when the device is connected: [ 9329.979120] usb 2-1: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 4 [ 9330.117276] usb 2-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice This is the output of lsusb -v for the device: Bus 002 Device 004: ID 15a4:9015 Device Descriptor: bLength 18 bDescriptorType 1 bcdUSB 2.00 bDeviceClass 0 (Defined at Interface level) bDeviceSubClass 0 bDeviceProtocol 0 bMaxPacketSize0 64 idVendor 0x15a4 idProduct 0x9015 bcdDevice 2.00 iManufacturer 0 iProduct 0 iSerial 0 bNumConfigurations 1 Configuration Descriptor: bLength 9 bDescriptorType 2 wTotalLength 46 bNumInterfaces 1 bConfigurationValue 1 iConfiguration 0 bmAttributes 0x80 (Bus Powered) MaxPower 500mA Interface Descriptor: bLength 9 bDescriptorType 4 bInterfaceNumber 0 bAlternateSetting 0 bNumEndpoints 4 bInterfaceClass 255 Vendor Specific Class bInterfaceSubClass 0 bInterfaceProtocol 0 iInterface 0 Endpoint Descriptor: bLength 7 bDescriptorType 5 bEndpointAddress 0x81 EP 1 IN bmAttributes 2 Transfer Type Bulk Synch Type None Usage Type Data wMaxPacketSize 0x0200 1x 512 bytes bInterval 0 Endpoint Descriptor: bLength 7 bDescriptorType 5 bEndpointAddress 0x02 EP 2 OUT bmAttributes 2 Transfer Type Bulk Synch Type None Usage Type Data wMaxPacketSize 0x0200 1x 512 bytes bInterval 0 Endpoint Descriptor: bLength 7 bDescriptorType 5 bEndpointAddress 0x84 EP 4 IN bmAttributes 2 Transfer Type Bulk Synch Type None Usage Type Data wMaxPacketSize 0x0200 1x 512 bytes bInterval 0 Endpoint Descriptor: bLength 7 bDescriptorType 5 bEndpointAddress 0x85 EP 5 IN bmAttributes 2 Transfer Type Bulk Synch Type None Usage Type Data wMaxPacketSize 0x0200 1x 512 bytes bInterval 0 Device Qualifier (for other device speed): bLength 10 bDescriptorType 6 bcdUSB 2.00 bDeviceClass 0 (Defined at Interface level) bDeviceSubClass 0 bDeviceProtocol 0 bMaxPacketSize0 64 bNumConfigurations 1 Device Status: 0x0000 (Bus Powered) Tim. _______________________________________________ linux-dvb mailing list linux-dvb@xxxxxxxxxxx http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/linux-dvb
